According to the New York Times, Friday brings us yet another chapter in the evolution of what is arguably the modern era's most powerful fairy tale: Invasion of the Body Snatchers.
This version, title "The Invasion," stars Nicole Kidman and appears to deliciously mingle the besieged individualism of the previous film versions with the kindred biological paranoia of the zombie film, another archetypal genre.
[Update: Apparently when the movie is over you'll also feel exactly the same, only slightly worse. Acccording the NYT's Manohla Dargis, "“The Invasion” lurches and drags and teeters on the brink of death from scene to scene; it plays as if it had been made by someone in a trance, though not a cool one."]
